​Saturday Academic Writing

​To maximize the benefits of writing instruction, students require individual support to guide them through the writing process of any genre. 

Saturday Academic Writing workshops are designed to engage students in the unique subject of writing. We offer lessons for narrative, opinion, and expository writing as we support scholars with producing short responses and essays. A series of virtual writing workshops are offered on the weekend.

Reading Comprehension workshops are designed to engage students in the text by applying various strategies that will lead to understanding what is read. A series of virtual one-on-one reading workshops are offered on the weekends.

Our basic digital literacy sessions are designed based on specific needs. Topics include navigating through Microsoft or Google applications such as emails, documents, or presentation slides. We also offer sessions for an introduction to coding.
